Kitchen Secret's Return Policy

We want you to love your purchase.  If you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to help.  Please review our policy below for details on returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Eligibility

Kitchen Secrets will accept returns on most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in its original condition (unused, unassembled, and in original packaging).
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
  • Certain products may have specific return windows or conditions, which will be noted on the product page.

Final Sale Items

Due to the nature of certain products, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Custom or made-to-order items
  • Clearance or “Final Sale” items
  • Opened or used kitchen tools, cookware, or food-contact products
  • Personalized or monogrammed items
  • Gift cards

If an item is non-returnable, it will be clearly stated on the product page before checkout.

Return Process

  1. Please submit a Return Request to our customer care team at support@kitchensecrets.ca, including your order number and the reason for the return.  
  2. We’ll confirm eligibility and provide a return confirmation, along with shipping instructions and a label.
  3. Items must be returned using the provided shipping label.
    • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.
    • Some products may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% for opened or non-defective returns.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

At Kitchen Secrets, we stand behind the quality of every product.  If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Please report it within 7 days of delivery.
  • Please provide photos of the item and its packaging so we can quickly resolve the issue.
  • We will coordinate a replacement, exchange, or full refund at no additional cost to you.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
  • If the item is returned in non-sellable condition (used, missing parts, or without packaging), a partial refund may apply.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if they have not yet shipped.
Once processing or shipment begins, cancellation may not be possible.  Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.

Exchanges

Direct exchanges are not always available due to inventory.  In most cases, you’ll need to return the original item and place a new order for the replacement.

As a curated marketplace, many of our items ship directly from trusted brand partners.  Each supplier has its own return procedures, and your return instructions will reflect the requirements of the specific manufacturer.
